Many Updates.... But not much time....

Unfortunately for me I have been really sick on and off for the past 7 weeks, it seems like every time someone coughs 10 feet away from me I get deathly sick. my immune system apparently sucks. go me. Anyway... there are some exciting things that have happened but alas I do not have time to really update everyone... but don't fret the semester is officially over for me tomorrow so I shall have a lot of time on my hands for at least a month...that is if I get all my Christmas shopping done soon! So be on the look out for our little adventures :)

But don't worry I won't leave you without a picture so here is our cute dog with our beautiful Christmas tree.

There's always a silver lining

I have re-kindled an old friendship this week and I am so happy. We have been talking non-stop and I just wish I was going home for the holidays.... Amongst the wonderful things we have been talking about I have found a new favorite artist. yay. So although this month has been crazy and busy and pretty intense/hard for me I guess there is always a silver lining. Now I can't stop smiling :)

Can't wait until thanksgiving and then my birthday will be here which means my mommy is coming to town... let's just say I am looking forward to the next few weeks.... who knows maybe I will go home in January or something :)

I don't even know where to begin!

Sometimes so much has been going on that I don't really know where to start and I just end up writing nothing... so let's just do a quick recap of Sept/Oct:
1. Baby showers for Brooke galore
2. Hadlie Denise Johnson was born Oct 4th ( the day I guessed she would be)
3. I got a job as a Legal Assistant with an awesome attorney
4. I am still going to school full time and survived midterm week despite working and stuff
5. Austin moved to a new place less than a mile from me
6. Packing, Moving, unpacking, decorating. whew.
7. Multiple Halloween parties. I won best pumpkin award. woot.
8. Oh and I am super sick.... bronchitis maybe?

Putting everything on a list makes it seem like I haven't been all that busy... but believe me this last month has been kicking my butt!
On some brighter notes.... Austin's family from Utah is visiting next weekend so we are SO excited for that... except for the part where he wants his apartment all done and decorated ( which is obviously my job) so the stress-ness isn't over just yet. I am so looking forward to time off for thanksgiving & my birthday is coming up in about a month! ( Dec 1st) yayy.
Well here are some cute pics of my life in the month of October

Is there such a thing as too much blogging?

So I feel like I am going from the extreme of blogging once every three months to two blog posts in just a few days, kind of weird for me. I wish I could blog all the time and tell all the people on cyberspace what I am thinking and doing but I don't know if that would get too boring for everyone. So I am just going to blog about everything and nothing at the same time.

Today we went out, Austin took me to Olive Garden and we had a good time. I have noticed that we are getting into more in depth conversations about our plans and our hopes and desires for the future. I recently decided that I want to go to law school, granted I have to finish my bachelor's degree first but it is a new goal that I have set out for myself. Hopefully I can achieve it. Sometimes I fear that we'll get married and have a baby and that I'll never have a career of my own. I hope that isn't the case.

We don't really have big plans for the weekend. I have some tests and homework to get done for my classes but it's not something I don't enjoy. I am enjoying my full class load and I hope I can finally finish my degree soon. I am still trying to find a job, but it has proven to be more difficult than I imagined, that plus I am being a little more selective this time around. I want a steady job with no stupid drama (is that too much to ask?) so hopefully I can find a job as a legal secretary/assistant soon.

There's so much I wish to say but I get afraid of what people might say or think of me. Don't get me wrong I have no mean things to say just some real thoughts that I want someone else's opinion on. It's hard to get Austin's opinion on things he doesn't seem to care too much about (girl stuff ha) so maybe some day I'll find the courage.

Well those are my thoughts for tonight... I'll leave a picture to make it more enjoyable to read :)

I think I look like my mom in this picture.
Sorry that my head is cut off but I was trying to see my
whole outfit (shoes included of course) without a full length mirror.

No Excuses.

I got a new computer yesterday so I really have no reason not to post. I finally uploaded all my pictures from this summer and from this moment on I promise to be a good blogger. I love to read other people's blogs and I hope that if I become a better blogger, other people will enjoy reading my blog. So here we go!

This was my 3rd summer ( crazy, i know!) in Arizona, time flies! Lucky for me this was the easiest summer I have yet to endure. Last summer I was able to visit New Hampshire and my family which really broke up my summer and I was able to tolerate it but this summer was actually enjoyable! First I am assuming it had a little to do with the fact that I am still ( tear) jobless! and not for lack of trying... yuck. Anyway... We were able to spend quite a few weekends at Austin's Dad's cabin up north! The temperature difference was at times 40 degrees or more! It was amazing... I even got cold at night. It was so nice to get away and be outside and ride quads, play lots of games and just relax. Zuke loves the cabin and hates coming back home, we just let him run around outside free and he knows not to go far and always stays with cooper ( Austin's dad's dog) We also did some fishing, played some frisbee and even spent 4th of july weekend up there! I am so thankful that we had our weekend getaways all summer and although I am sad to see summer end I am excited to continue visiting the cabin especially when it starts to snow up there! Here are some of my favorite pictures from our trips!

Until then...

I am a terrible blogger... If only I could find the cord to upload my pictures from my camera I think I would be more motivated to blog... but until then... my apologies.

Ok... I am sorry...

So it has been quite a long time since I posted last... I guess I couldn't come up with anything that was better than our cruise but I guess life goes on.... and hopefully there'll be other cruises! Ok so I guess I have the whole month of May and June to catch up on... So here we go....

Ok so the month started with a trip to the Lake with Austin, Mitch, Tyler, Janey & Brooks... it was super fun and I attempted to wake board for the first time... please notice the word "attempted" because it was a lot harder than anyone made it look! My arms were super sore for days after... but at least I can say I got up once... I didn't stay up but it was better than nothing for me! It was a beautiful day and I mostly enjoyed the view from inside the boat with baby Brooks!

Things that happened in May 2010....
1. Brandi turned 16 and got her license!
2. We found out Brooke is having a baby GIRL! yayy pink!
3. Los suns/Cinco de Mayo Party with the boys & lots of food! yum.
4. Austin, Zuke and I went on our first road trip to Utah to drop Brady off at the MTC
5. Hung out with cousin Luke in Utah....best ever.
6. My middle school best friend Mallory came to visit and she and her daughter are now moving to AZ in October! whooo hoooo can't wait!

Ok and that was May.... coming up.... June 2010.... i hope. haha.

Grand Cayman

This was my favorite part of the trip I absolutely LOVED everything about the Grand Cayman....It was so beautiful and the weather cooperated with us. Brooke took a lot of pictures with her water proof camera so I will have to get those from her soon but for now let me show you what I have. The day started early... when we got to Grand Cayman we had to take a small boat over to the island because our ship was too big to get too close. When we got to the island we took a bus to another side of the island and then got on another boat that took us to the middle of the ocean to a sand bar to Sting Ray City. This was amazing, these sting rays were huge and just swam around you, they are wild and just hang out here at this wonderful tourist attraction. We got to feed them squid and me and Brandi kissed one for 7 years of good luck! This was so fun! After spending some time there we traveled to a coral reef and got to snorkel which was super fun. The water was so clear and we got to see some cool fish and even a lobster. The water felt so nice and we had a blast. We then got back on the boat got back to shore and then took another bus to "7 Mile beach" which is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, the water was turquoise blue and the sand was white. It was so fun to play in the water. After soaking up some sun and playing we walked up the beach and headed for the ship. We of course stopped at some shops and bought some cute souvenirs. We were definitely exhausted after that but we loved it!

JAMAICA

Our first stop was Ocho Rios, Jamaica! It was so hot and humid there! As soon as we got off the boat people were trying to sell us everything including drugs it was insane! We went to a really cool waterfall that we got to climb up and was really fun. After that we walked downtown and ate some real Jamaican Jerk Chicken which was amazing! We then did a little shopping and bought some souvenirs. Austin and I walked down to a park and sat and ate coconuts while we listened to some fun Jamaican music which did include Bob Marley. Here are some pictures!
